Supply Chain Management

Agrovia's supply chain management service model caters to the growing need for single-origin, certified and traceable premium cacao.

Material integration strategies are developed based on unique customer criteria such as network capacities, production line scheduling, seasonal forecasting and innovation. We conduct collaborative high-level 'whiteboarding' and deep-dive analytics developing customer maps that have lead to more efficient material spend and integration.

Customized Orders

Our growers include single-origin professionally managed estate farms and organized small-holder groups. Based on customer needs, we offer both standardized and customized orders including seasonal micro-lots as well as longer-term agreements. Moreover, with enough lead time, we positively encourage large or micro-lots to be customized. For example, homogenous fermentation rates and drying times can and are adjusted to suit customer needs.

Bean selection begins with our origin procurement compliance process. We collect and categorize agronomic data that generates both a material and farm performance report. This data is then analyzed in a scorecard format. Much of the criteria is based on geographical genetic mapping, grower pre-harvest and management, farm microclimates, post-harvest climates, practices and testing. Consistent with our commitment to visability, this data is made available to customers.
